Since 27 August 2024, the Indonesian government has imposed a new requirement for international travellers, both Indonesian and foreign, obliging everyone to complete an electronic health declaration form entitled SATUSEHAT Health Pass. This measure has been put in place to combat the spread of Monkey poxalso known as Mpox. The new tool is designed to reinforce health security at points of entry into the country, particularly airports.

The SATUSEHAT Health Pass: the key to Indonesia

Le SATUSEHAT Health Pass is an electronic form that allows travellers to provide crucial information about their health and travel history before arriving in Indonesia. Entering this information is essential for assessing the potential risks that each traveller could present. If symptoms are detected, the health authorities can react quickly and effectively to prevent the spread of the disease.

Points of entry, particularly airports, will have direct access to the data collected via this form. This will facilitate the implementation of appropriate control measures to detect and treat travellers likely to be carriers of this virus.
